Ishinomaki Laboratory is a design brand from Japan with "DIY+Design" as its core motif, initiated during the reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
Shortly before New Year 2024, Ishinomaki lab‘s first solo exhibition in China took place at Aranya Yoyi Bay, one of China's most popular upscale neighborhoods. This exhibition was developed by lifestyle brand Aranya in collaboration with Xuxuhuasheng co.,ltd, China's headline content platform, and Youyiwansui co.,ltd, a design supply chain platform.
The exhibition was curated by insdim, with venue supported by WallpaperSTORE*. The completion of the project was supported by DMF, the operator of ishinomaki laboratory made in local project in mainland China.
The exhibition mainly featured Ishinomaki lab's classic products, and the official launch event of the new 3D Tangram and Tic-Tac-Fork products, which is designed by insdim for Ishinomaki lab.
